  • TCU and TAMU-Kingsville last crossed paths on the hardwood in 1981. Wednesday's meeting marks the fifth all-time contest between the two programs.
  • The Horned Frogs are 24-4 in November home games since Schollmaier Arena reopened in 2015-16.
  • A win over the Javelinas would signify TCU's 90th inside Schollmaier Arena.

Frog Focus
  • TCU won its 11th consecutive season and home-opener with Monday's 76-56 win vs. Oral Roberts.
  • Madison Conner (30 points, 11 rebounds) and Sedona Prince (15 points, 10 rebounds) each finished with double-doubles against the Golden Eagles, marking the first time in the 49-year history of the program that two newcomers produced a double-double in their TCU debuts.
  • Conner's 30 points were the most in program history by a player making her TCU debut.
  • Conner became the 20th player in the history of TCU women's hoops to score 30 points in a game.
  • Conner's scoring output also signified an individual career-high.
  • Conner's 30-piece were also the second-most points scored among all Big 12 players on opening night while her 10 defensive rebounds topped the conference's individual statistics chart.
  • TCU knocked down nine 3-pointers - it's most in a season-opener since 2013 - in its rout of ORU.
  • Conner shot 6-13 from distance to lead the 3-point barrage. The 5-11 junior has now drained five-or-more triples three times in her career.
  • TCU's newcomers made early returns on Monday. The Horned Frogs' inaugural starting five was comprised entirely of transfers. Conner and Prince, along with Jaden Owens, Una Jovanovic and Agnes Emma-Nnopu accounted for 88 percent (67-of-76 points) of TCU's scoring vs. the Golden Eagles.
  • Jovanovic joined Conner and Prince as one of three Frogs to score in double figures. The junior finished with 11 points and five assists.

  • The Horned Frogs limited ORU to a paltry 31 percent shooting clip (23-72) from the field and just three makes on 18 attempts from distance. TCU's field goal percentage defense was second only to Kansas State (.298) among Big 12 teams on Monday.
