GoFrogs: TCU Women to Host Auburn in Big 12/SEC Challenge
FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU women's basketball team will host Auburn on Saturday, Dec. 7 in this year's Big 12/SEC Challenge, the league offices announced Monday.
The Horned Frogs and Tigers will be meeting for just the second time in their history, having previously played just once at Auburn in 1994.
TCU is 2-1 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, including back-to-back wins over Alabama and Ole Miss in the past two seasons.
The Frogs bested the Crimson Tide, 88-67, at home in 2017 before going on the road to down the Rebels, 55-50, a year ago.
TCU returns four players who started at least 22 games from last year's squad that finished 24-11 and advanced to the WNIT Semifinals for the second consecutive season. The 24 wins tied for the second-most in a season in program history.
Auburn, meanwhile, will return four starters from its 2019 team which went 22-10 overall and made its third NCAA Tournament appearance in the last four seasons.
