We do this a lot. You can tell when a guy is off or losing his control and we always push it until there is damage.

You still understand where you are. You have runners on and a pitcher who is tired and starting to lose his control. You don’t risk the game and an injury, imo.

That aside, he was losing control and was at a really high pitch count. Braden’s error didn’t help but don’t compound the problem by not making that change when it’s time.
