ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Senior Aymeric Laussot is in second place after the completion of 36 holes at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque, N.M. on Friday.
Laussot had a career-best round in the first 18 holes of the day. He made eight birdies and shot 7-under 65. Laussot shot even-par 72 in the second round finished the day in second place at 7-under 137. He's one-stroke behind tournament leader Caden Fioroni (-8) of UNLV.
Senior Gustav Frimodt had back-to-back rounds of even-par 72 and shot 2-under 142 for the day. He'll start the final round tied for 15th place.
Senior Jacob Skov Olesen made eagle on the par 5 No. 1 hole in the first round to shoot even-par 72. He shot 1-under 71 in the second round for a score of 1-under 143 and is tied for 17.
Ethan Dial shot a career-low 3-under 69 in the second round and is tied for 21st at even-par 144.
The Horned Frogs are in third place at 10-under 566, seven shots behind leader San Diego State. TCU will resume play with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
