They were basically an average team in the 90s and early 2000s. It wasn’t some huge powerhouse and their recruiting class weren’t that awesome either. Now they’re a machine and own the ACC over bluebloods like Florida St and Miami.

yes, they were an average p5 program who dabo elevated and the original question was why tcu can't be clemson.

I think these guys are going to be in for big surprise next March when the renewals go out.

You would think so but it has to get worse before major changes in the football program.

The Board of Trustees, except LT, are not football people but do pay attention to the bottom line. It's the bottom line that will dictate the change. Assume for a moment, no Covid 19 next year and we hover around 30K per game along with a decrease in student enrollment, this will begin to bring on change. It will have to come down from the top, not Donati.
