The reason traffic was bad after the game is that there was no end-of- third quarter exodus.....

It took us over an hour to get home.

And we live less than a mile away.

What the heck? You should have definitely walked. When I go, I rarely find any spot closer than 3/4 of a mile away.

follow up: may be more of an effort than we think.

Listening to the replay of Big 12 Today on Big 12 Sirius XM radio.
Gabe Ikard (who is also on the OU radio network) mentioned how he was on the field at K-State and looking to get to the exit as the kids stormed the field. Says as he is moving down to the exit, he hears a snap.

Some poor K-state girl gets a compound fracture jumping over the rail trying to rush the field.

Gabe said he and some others looked for med staff. She got med support and an ambulance. But not before Ikard took a cell phone pic of it. While he only seems to share the photo with folks like Rowe (who said it was bad) he did offer the look on the face of a guy helping.
