If there's any silver lining to our situation, OSU has no clue on how to plan for our 4th string QB, Karson Ringdahl, or our 5 string QB, Grant Beucler.

I remember the days when the quarterback called the play himself in the huddle....it would be a breath of fresh air to see that again.
When Davey was doing that very thing, Dutch would ask him, at halftime, what he thought would work?
Davey might say "Coach, I think 'ol 98 would be a good one."
Dutch would tell the rest of the team, "I just told O'Brien to give them a dose of 'ol 98-- and that's what we'll do".
in all seriousness, the qb had to be a coach on the field-- no coaching from the side. Maybe good or not in today's games.
