FWST: TCU tennis will host first two rounds of ITA Kick-Off Weekend

The No. 3-ranked TCU men’s tennis team and the No. 22 women’s teams will host the first two rounds of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend Friday through Sunday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center at TCU.
The Kick-Off Weekend is part of a 60-team NCAA tournament that leads up to a 16-team tournament next month at Virginia for the men and at Wisconsin for the women.
“This is the first time TCU’s been able to host both men’s and women’s tournaments,” TCU men’s coach David Roditi said. “We’re excited and we hope our fans will come out and show their support. It should be some really great tennis.”
The women’s competition kicks off Friday with Ohio State taking on Pepperdine at 10 a.m., followed by TCU vs. Houston. The championship match is scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, with a consolation at 10 a.m. Sunday. ...
