FWST: Kendal Briles’ simple move changed more than just TCU’s entire season. It saved jobs.

Brewing frog is a beating, but he's not that far off that it shouldn't have taken half the season to realize Cook was getting 1 yard or less every first down carry.

My conclusions:

1) The true freshman RB better be great out of the box or we need another thumper that runs a 4.4. Otherwise, get ready for first half of 2024 redux.
2) We need two or three more WRs that are NFL ready in the portal.

I think going into the season, our coaches thought our running backs would perform better. The problem was they were practicing against our defense who for the first half of the season was not doing a very good job of stopping the run. Thankfully both sides improved for the second half of the season.

TCU’s best offensive player has not announced if he will play in the team’s bowl appearance, and team officials have not heard a word about Savion Williams returning for one more game.

Go with “Doubtful.”

Keep on eye on Williams’ social media activity for what now is the standard Chat GPT post of the player professing their undying love and devotion to their team, teammates, coaching staff and university with the kicker, “With that being said, I am declaring for the NFL Draft.”

Just think where they could be if they had put him back there last year. So close to 10-2 this year. Wonder if could have run out the clock on UCF?
