FWST: Former TCU quarterback has Cowboys connection

ARLINGTON -- Zack Eskridge didn't feel out of place standing beside Andy Dalton and Greg McElroy at Cowboys Stadium on Friday. The Midwestern State quarterback is the grandson of Jack Eskridge, the Cowboys' original equipment manager, and Eskridge started his career at TCU.
So throwing to TCU receivers Jimmy Young and Jeremy Kerley at Dallas Day was like old times for Eskridge, who redshirted at TCU in 2006 and was on the team in 2007 before transferring.
Eskridge also caught up with former Horned Frogs teammates Marcus Cannon, Evan Frosch and Jake Kirkpatrick on Friday.
"I hadn't seen them in about three or four years," Eskridge said. "It was great to be back with all those guys. It was an awesome experience." ...
