FWST: Big innings help TCU respond with 9-1 win against Oklahoma

The disheartening, streak-ending loss No. 19 TCU suffered Saturday wasn’t allowed to linger.
The Horned Frogs left the gloom of that extra-inning defeat in the rearview mirror Sunday with a convincing 9-1 win at Lupton Stadium to take the series against Oklahoma in front of 3,485 in attendance.
TCU (36-14, 15-6 Big 12) trails Oklahoma State (38-13, 16-5) by one game in the Big 12 race with three league games remaining. After hosting UT Arlington on Tuesday night, TCU finishes the regular season with three games at Baylor (22-27, 7-13), beginning Thursday.
The Cowboys, who’ve won nine in a row, finish against Oklahoma (27-25, 7-14), with the first game played in Oklahoma City and the final two in Tulsa. ...
