I am just relieved. We had the best three coaches in the country at the three biggest sports, and I did not want to lose one of them. Each one of them are a big part of our university. To lose one of them would hurt tremendously because we view them as part of our family.

I'm just glad that he is still a part of our family and not apart from our family.

I think the biggest problem was that the first article in the Startlegram basically indicated that he was leaving because of particulars that TCU was felt to be unable to match. Other writers also piled on with similar thoughts. An SEC friend of course was quite smug about the SEC being utopia for any coach in any sport.

But here is the real news..... TCU/Fort Worth have a lot going on!
