No, but they apparently hoisted the alternate national flag, pure white…the real question is did the french side go on strike at any time?

We didn't actually beat them. They surrendered.I see TCU won 110-75.
One word "Verdun."Surprised when they got their first touch, they didn't lay down the ball and surrender...being French, and all.

Was he the same one who noted that there are tall trees along the roads in France, because the Germans prefer to march in the shade?A wise man once wrote, “Going to war without the French is like going Elk hunting without a blender.”
That's basically what I said they said, wasn't it? "We're dun." But that was WWI. Then they got soft on wine and cheese
I kid, of course. Anyone unaware of Verdun will find interesting reading re: a battle fought from February to December (yes, you read that right) 1916.
And if you want to believe the History Channel has reputably-sourced broadcasts, the WW2 Wehrmacht was amply supplied with meth so that the soldiers didn't need sleep and could sweep the French out of the way....French soldiers were when the Germans invaded France.
The high command sucked and expected another war of attrition.
THe high command didn't know how to use their better-armored and better-gunned tanks.
They're going to Hawaii in December.I’m just glad the games are being held in France. That’s a long long way from Hawaii.
