Fox Sports: TCU settling at Peach Bowl after College Football Playoff snub

More than three weeks removed from the College Football Playoff committee's final ranking, the No. 6 TCU Horned Frogs are mere hours from kicking off the Peach Bowl against the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels.
It should be a dandy of a football game, even if in the back of their minds, the Frogs still don't really understand how they ended up in Georgia.
Not that they'll say any such thing publicly. Led by the oftentimes gruff Gary Patterson, TCU has offered only an eloquent acceptance of its still-strange plight â dropping from No. 3 on Dec. 2 to No. 6 and out of the playoff in the final poll five days later.
Good for TCU for being good sports. However, the situation begs for a change in the committee's process before the 2015 season. This is not a criticism of its final four picks, but rather a call to prevent another team from being placed in the unfair position of losing out by winning out. ...
