Was that when Billy Tubbs was here? NM came in pretty highly ranked. Full House. Frogs were runnin' and hot. Won by about 20. Great game! Great crowd! Had some friends in from out of town for that game. They were duly impressed!! Seems like we had to run through the rain to get back to the car after the game.

I believe I was there. TCU basketball was so much fun, especially after the lousy football season we had. I remember us reading the skiff during opposing player introductions and then throwing the papers behind their bench

New Mexico had Kenny Thomas on those clubs and I think at least one other guy that was a fringe nba dude. Run DMC was rockin back then every single game.

Spring of my sophomore year. Never heard DMC as loud as it was that night. Prince, Malcom, RC, Penny, Nailon…that 1997-98 team was special and so much fun to watch.

I remember that game vaguely but I better remember the NM game the following year at DMC when Nailon was called for hitting a NM player and the season went to hell from there on.

That was against UNLV. We were ranked in the top 20, a lock for the NCAA post-season. It all went to complete hell and Tubbs' program never recovered.
