Holgerson said that he needed to find work because the offset clause in his Houston buyout required him to seek employment. He didn't say, but I think this is standard, whatever pay comes from that work is then deducted from his buyout. Obviously your former employer is hoping that by shoving you onto the job market you'll land another head coaching gig and make as much as they would otherwise owe you. Holgo is basically writing notes on game film, can work from home every day if he wants, and is just cruising around the 817 in a golf cart being paid comparative peanuts. I salute him, and lolz at Cougar High.

Isn't that still Fort Worth's area code? The kids use area telephone codes as shorthand to refer to a place, or at least did about ten years ago when I was still almost close enough to their age to accidentally pick these these up occasionally.
