I thought the bye was between ACU and SMU. Oops.We have back to back home games.
But to answer your question: 2017.

Normally I’d agree with you, but the bye week after the disastrous Houston game this past season couldn’t have come at a better time. We won 5 of 6 after that.I don’t like when we have a bye week.
Should have used the scene where Rev. Lovejoy says he is a graduate of TCU.That’s pretty damn clever and good.
Time for someone to make an updated version.Should have used the scene where Rev. Lovejoy says he is a graduate of TCU.

16 Conference teams,9 Conference games, already have a "rivalry" annual opponent in BU(yet we don't play on Rivalry Weekend) how do you make it work for Frogs/Tech to play each season? There is no reason why TCU and Texas Tech shouldn't play each season.
Government jobs. The West Virginia one has me dying over here. That's pretty good but someone has way too much time on their hands lol. There's how many episodes of the Simpsons to go thru to find those clips?
Yep, it’s a simple fix. Do this or divisions. The whole “throw at the wall and see what sticks” method of scheduling sucks. It causes unnecessary chaos for deciding the top 2 teams (just like this year), and makes for just really boring or unfair schedules (us playing in Manhattan 3 times in a row, CU coming here twice in a row, OSU coming here 3 times in a row, etc and some teams playing either the majority of the hardest or worst teams).4 x 4 pods -- Texas, west, central and east. Play every team in your regional pod, and rotate the rest of the schedule from the remaining pods.
I'm sure the issue is Yormark trying to work out a new wrinkle to get money out of such an arrangement. How he would do such a thing is beyond me at this point, what with the TV/Streaming market so discombobulated...Yep, it’s a simple fix. Do this or divisions. I'm fearful it could be a 1-8 conference season....Don't know who the 1 will be....Yeah, I know, negative....but every one of the teams on the schedule have the ability to beat anyone....That is a BRUTAL schedule. I don’t think I can remember a season we haven’t had back to back home games before.
There isn’t a reason the Frogs can’t be like the ‘22 team…or the ‘23 team….Doh!I'm fearful it could be a 1-8 conference season....Don't know who the 1 will be....Yeah, I know, negative....but every one of the teams on the schedule have the ability to beat anyone....
Which means it could be 8-1.I'm fearful it could be a 1-8 conference season....Don't know who the 1 will be....Yeah, I know, negative....but every one of the teams on the schedule have the ability to beat anyone....
I would think creating more regional matchups would be a strong start towards doing that. I couldn’t give a damn about playing Cinci, WVU, UCF, ISU, etc and I bet most fans feel that way too. We should at least be playing all in-conference Texas teams every year. The mountain teams should play each other every year. East coast…so on and so on.I'm sure the issue is Yormark trying to work out a new wrinkle to get money out of such an arrangement.
