Support our coach? How about support our players?

Isn't anybody concerned about this, beyond whether or not it makes our program look bad? If Patterson really did shout down a medical staffer who was trying to hold Wesley out over a concussion, I think it says more about Patterson than it does our program.

I wonder if some of the people on this board would have the same attitude if it had been their own son Patterson had wanted to send back in.

Give me a break. The only way Patterson would have not supported the players is overriding the doctor's authority. He didn't do that. Wesley didn't go back in. Also, there is some speculation that what Gary was yelling at the doc about wasn't Wesley's health but rather the fact he wasn't told he was out of the game. According to GP, at the time he was yelling at the doc, Wesley's helmet had officially been pulled.

This "issue" was resolved the day after it happened and has been dead since then.

Dredging up a non issue serves no purpose and is a waste of time.
