DMN: TCU’s Eddie Lampkin, reportedly away from team, cites mistreatment by coach Jamie Dixon

TCU center Eddie Lampkin Jr. will not travel with the team to Kansas City for the Big 12 tournament, according to multiple reports. Frogs Today first reported the news.
Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram confirmed the report, adding Lampkin is dealing with personal and mental health.
On Wednesday, Lampkin posted several screenshots on Instagram of conversations in which he refers to mistreatment by TCU and coach Jamie Dixon and disputes the reasons for his absence from the team. One of the conversations appears to involve his mother, Vanessa Lampkin, referring to racial remarks used toward her son.
