DMN: 5 thoughts: Mental mistakes come back to bite TCU in loss to No. 5 Baylor

TCU fell just short of completing a second-straight upset, losing to Baylor 61-58 in a wild one in Waco. Here are five thoughts from the game:
 
1. Catalon a jack of all trades. TCU running back B.J. Catalon proved he is one of the better playmakers in the conference with another big effort. In three different roles, Catalon gained 198 all-purpose yards. He found the end zone three times against Baylor as well, both giving him new season bests. It was his third straight game with over 100 all-purpose yards and second straight game with multiple scores. His third touchdown was also his first kick return touchdown of the season.
 
2. Quick possessions: This game was all about speed, and it was evident in the length of each possession. The longest possession of the game was just 3:31, which came when TCU was trying to kill time near the end of the game to potentially force overtime. The longest scoring drive was a 3:19 Baylor run that ended in a field goal after 13 plays. ...
