Why did it take more than a year for SMU and TCU to play their 100th football game against each other? If Tuesday is any indication, the answer may depend on whom you ask.
The rivalry game, known colloquially as the Battle for the Iron Skillet, is set to take place this weekend, but the conversation leading up to the game, in Dallas and Fort Worth, has initially been centered on who was to blame for the game falling through last season.
