The best team doesn’t always win.
This is exactly why the CFP system is [ deposit from a bull that looks like Art Briles ]. If the best team always won then there would be no reason to play any of these games. Everybody talking about Utah's dominance and Baylor luck and OU defense and all that crap doesn't matter. PLAY THE GAMES! Sometimes it's LSU sometimes it's UCF. Whatever. Let em play!

Is any one or any thing stopping teams from playing their games? If so, I missed that.

If Georgia and Baylor win how many people are going to be bitching about the SEC getting two teams into the playoff again?

I’m thinking not many?
I will be - and I can't stand Baylor and it's fanbase.

If Georgia wants to win the NC - they have a chance to start that journey TODAY.

Win and you are in - lose and you were not the best team, you don't need another shot at trying to do something you couldn't get done the first time.

This whole eye test BS is exactly that - there is no way a 1 loss Conference champ should be left out over a 2 loss team that lost their CCG

Georgia isn’t getting in if they don’t win. But LSU and Georgia are if they win, and I bet nobody here will be complaining that the Big 12 didn’t get in (if Baylor wins). That was my point.
