I called this before the game even started.

That people would overreact. That Collins would be crowed a Heisman caliber QB if we were to score points.

He might be better than Robinson. We might be 6-1 if he got put in as soon as Robinson got hurt.

But. Pump, the, brakes. Kansas is still the league's worst team, and we had a pretty pitiful offensive first half. The only team that has scored less than 10 in the 1st half against Kansas this year is Central Michigan. Even Nicholls scored 10. Every other Big 12 team has scored at least 21 points on Kansas in the 1st half this year.

As coach says, win all by one and you go undefeated. We are ahead.

If Robinson were in at QB and we were down 14-10 to Kansas in the 3rd quarter this board would be going nuts

Let's call a spade a spade and realize that the offense sucks regardless of who is in at QB, and the problem isn't the QB.

Offense looks great! 10 points vs KU!

So many here were so attached and invested in the theory that our offense was bad because of who was in at QB and that the backup QB would solve every single problem our offense had, that many on this board(not just the OP) are claiming that the 1st half was a great performance and proof that Collins is the right choice at QB.

Collins might be the right choice at QB, but 10 points against the worst team in the league isn't exactly a ringing endorsement, considering every other Big 12 team has been able to score at least 21 in the 1st half on KU this year.

"If Collins started every game this year, we'd be 7-0, 6-1 at worse"

That quote didn't hold up well
