Caleb Tanenbaum says that TCU has proven that they can't compete in Big 12

Caleb Tanenbaum said today that TCU has proven that they do not have what it takes to compete against the Big Boys.

He said while TCU ran up impressive records, they were in weak conferences, and now that they are in a big boy conference they can not accomplish the same feats, as they have shown this season.

He says TCU's past accomplishments and BCS appearances are a sham because they were achieved by playing weak competition and only having to get up for 1 or 2 games a year.

When addressed with the fact that TCU is extremely young and has had unprecedented personel losses this year, as well as having to break in a lot of freshman, he said it proves that TCU can not compete in the Big 12 because they can not recruit players that are good enough to play right away and compete at the highest level of the Big 12. He also said it proves they do not have the depth needed to compete and handle a week in week out grind.

He said that eventually TCU will slide into a position that will make them the new Iowa State of the league. A bowl appearance every now and then, but never getting more than 7 wins and lots of losing seasons mixed in.
did he tell you that after pulling out and turning over?

The less-than-notable nature of this individual is revealing bad things about the OP.

For all we know this is just some dude Travis knows.

Don't know who he is but sounds like he has the same level of understanding of college football as our resident genius, wrongdog. Anyone with any knowledge of how a big conference move like this works will tell you that it will take about 3-4 years to find out how a team will adjust to the new competition. Patterson, of course, said this many months ago and I think he knows a little more about football than these two yahoos.

he is about as big of an idiot as those on here who thought tcu would win 10 plus games and the conf!
