Have absolutely no idea why Chuck and friend are gushing over CW's play at 1B. The only reason it was interesting was because he was so badly out of position. Either be retreating into cut-off position or getting back the bag. Classic case of getting caught watching the paint dry and then scramble after the "Oh [ Finebaum ]" realization. That said, glad Balta was able to loft it sufficiently for him to recover and make the play. And very glad CW was able to scramble back to complete the double play.
Would be nice if we can break up this kid's no hitter fairly soon.

For the love of God why does our 3B retreat so much? Didn't attack Balta's throw with his chest and retreats on a bounder.
And costs us an unearned run. Poor baseball to this point.

No no broken up but ML thrown out by a country mile at the plate. If that throw had been on the plate ML would have been out by 15 feet.
