247 Sports: Patterson Not Tipping His Hand On If Robinson Will Start

TCU will battle Texas Tech on Thursday and there’s already a chess match going on who will be playing quarterback for each team.
On Monday, TCU coach Gary Patterson stated that starter Shawn Robinson would play against the Red Raiders but also noted backup Michael Collins would get some time. Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury, who also has not named a starter, said there is a chance Alan Bowman, Jett Duffey or even McClane Carter could start.
When asked on Tuesday whether or not Robinson would be starting, Patterson wasn’t about to give any inside hints to Texas Tech.
