BREAKING: TCU hires Kendal Briles as new offensive coordinator​

TCU has hired Kendall Briles to be their next offensive coordinator, multiple sources confirmed to HornedFrogBlitz on Wednesday afternoon. Briles replaces Garrett Riley, who took the offensive coordinator position at Clemson nearly a week ago.

Frogs head coach Sonny Dykes wanted a coordinator with strong Texas ties for recruiting efforts, a quarterback coaching background, and a successful coordinator that has shown good success balancing a passing and rushing attack.

Briles checked all of those boxes.
