This is why I asked why him about our most recent transfer. No offense to the guy and I hope he will be great. But when we take someone else I will wonder the same thing. I frankly don’t know how you select the players from the pretenders.

Looks like the 5-year eligibility rule is going to be the next to go…if you’re making $200k a year in college and don’t have NFL talent why would you ever want to leave and find a real job making 65% less?

Wrong to say I'm wrong without manning up to WHY I'm wrong. WADR you must think you are the Oracle of college football personnel.

WADR means respect. I respect your opinions that I've read 100s of times.

Take a look at a few of the Tight end coaches CVs at other Big 12 schools.

Josh Stepp >> TE coach at Cincy
Jason Mohns >> TE coach @ ASU
Jarrett Anderson >> Baylor Former TCU coach for decades who cranks up an unknown TE to All Big 12 honors???? in 2024 !!!!!!
And then.....,. the Utah TE Coach Freddie Whittingham. He coached up Kincaid and another to NFL Draft status %%%% $$$ .

I have no Disrespect to "Mitch Kirsch" TCUs TE coach, but I'd bet a couple grand most here would not know who he is/was.

Kirsch never played TE but most of the other TE coaches didn't either.
Stepp, Mohns, Whittingham have Street cred. Our Tight end coach doesn't.

Guys like this play on 4 or 5 teams seems like, never hear much about what they did as students.
He committed to TCU then ASU then Oregon then 2 other schools.

I really feel sorry for him. Perhaps he is suffering from the aftershock of a childhood drug adulation.
What did he eat growing up ??? What did he consume in his youth to bolster his bone density???

College sports is a cluster and my interest, even in TCU sports, is waning by the minute.
I'm pretty convinced the only reason people are hanging on in the numbers they are is purely out of habit. And I'm also convinced we're going to see a pretty significant decline in overall eyeballs on the game in the coming 5-10 years, unless something drastic is done to stem player movement and massive payroll differences.

Could be wrong, we'll see.
