Look at the color of the stuff all the coaches and support staff are wearing. Green. Look at the name they've chosen for their team. The Green Wave. Look at the colors ESPN has chosen as background for the Tulane name. Green. So, again, why powder blue?

Olive green and sky blue. Odd mix, but those are their colors.
