I think the decision was made well before last night happenedIf he leaves, with the program at a low point coming off a disappointing season, then he is not the man we think he is.

There is a lot of truth to this. It’s my experience that almost none of them are the man we think they are. Most are about half the man we think they are and half the man they WANT us to think they are.
I feel the same way (assuming he leaves). [ Finebaum ]ty when you think about it but that seems to be the way this process works these days.I think the decision was made well before last night happened
So tuition has gone up THAT much in 2 years? To the point that he COULD recruit just fine a year or two ago, but now he's suddenly hamstrung? No. He's not going anywhere.
Who somewhat ironically played for JS at Tulane. As did current MSU assistant Jake Gautreau.
Which is why we MIGHT get to keep Jake. He's a great hitting coach and our crootin' coordinator.
Matt Deggs is a name I hope gets consideration if/when this happens
What about the guy at Texas State if/when...
I am very interested to see what names this job can attract which is why I don’t think Saarloos will get the jobNo to both of the above suggestions. We gotta aim WAY higher than that.
It’s entirely possible if not probable that some very successful current HCs would have significant interest in TCU. Gotta make sure you don’t lose KS in the process and then fail to hire one of those guys though. Tricky.I am very interested to see what names this job can attract which is why I don’t think Saarloos will get the job

Then he needs to talk with the administration to find a solution if he truly loves TCU.That would be the main reason.
