So the three against Vandy, USC and UCLA aren't all neutral?
Nope. The USC and UCLA games were played at their stadiums, so they are road games. Only the Vanderbilt game was neutral at Dodger Stadium. This setup is better for RPI purposes for us.

We've got Plunkett at Catcher tonight and Skoug DH'ing.

10 minutes or so away from first pitch. I haven't seen an ACU lineup but will pull it from gametracker as soon as it's up.

Per Schloss on the pregame radio show:

ACU's starter was recruited by Schloss/TCU out of JuCo, but they couldn't get it affordable for him. He wound up at Arkansas, and now he's at ACU.

ACU's #1 hitter is from Ft. Worth and is another guy TCU recruited, but it didn't work out.

I think what they are saying is that he is their best starter, but was conveniently sick for their weekend series and is now healthy and starting mid-week vs TCU.  Sort of like DBU usually does.

FWIW, this guy started their first game of the season.  He also started mid-week against Tech and DBU, but is otherwise their Friday night guy.

A good reason why mid week games should be looked at differently.

We have our #5 going against their #1. Silliness

A point was made by Kendall Rogers or Aaron Fitt, one, on today's D1baseball.com chat. They didn't bring up pitching, but they mentioned that a lot more weight is given to weekend series than weekday games.  I believe they were directly addressing the fact that TCU improved despite going 2-2.  They pointed out that TCU beat an Omaha team on the road and the whole UTA thing was just a "losing happens, it's baseball" thing.
