Initial thoughts about our matchup: We will be favored. We are 15 spots higher on KenPom than Utah State. They are a good team but we should be able to beat them.

Purdue is just a tough matchup for us. It will be a road game environment in Indianapolis should we get past Utah State. Not sure we have anyone who can take on Edey. Purdue chokes in the tournament every year but the difference this year is they can shoot 3s where last year they couldn't.

Considering Purdue's recent history, we would play some 16 seed in the second round. Of the 4 number one seeds Purdue is the one I would want to draw. Still would much rather be a 10 though.

Looking at Utah State's overall stat profile they don't really shoot a lot of 3s and they rely on easy 2 point shots. They play somewhat fast. Going to need Udeh as a rim protector.

One common opponent, Nevada. We lost by 12 on a neutral floor, they lost by 14 at home.
