Was curious what this might look like. Rutgers/Minnesota/Indiana/Nebraska and no Ohio State/Michigan equals the harshest schedule possible? What am I missing here?

If two of the three non-division teams you are playing are Indiana and Rutgers, it seems like that would not be the harshest schedule possible, by a pretty long shot. Am I looking at the same schedule as you?
It's not the harshest possible, but they do play all of the former Pac teams (USC, Oregon, Wash) this year plus PSU and Iowa.

With the exception of themselves, the best teams from the Pac went to the B1G.

Seems weird that a job like UCLA ends up going to their RB coach, but who knows?

I'm planning a trip to Pasadena to see UCLA v MN in October; mostly to relive a trip I took there in late 2010...

UCLA and Cal have reputations for being relatively stingy with head coaching salaries (pressure from U Cal system regents or management, supposedly). Don't know if that's still true or not.

Kelly may be making more as a coordinator now than he did previously as the head coach at UCLA.
