Was I supposed to type something here?
Think he'd apologize for that pulitzer-worthy article if this does turn out to be a hoax?

Wait a minute-BYU got into a fight? No way. And they had some racial trouble? With the Duke volleyball team? Caffeinated drinks may have been involved.

The story is fake. There were 6,000 people crammed into that tiny gym and not one other person in that 6,000 heard anything. All the microphones, all the cameras, all the phones. No audio, video of any sort. Her teammates didn't even hear it. You can watch right now if you want and see when she serves. Turn it up and listen. She alone is the "witness" to the event. She could not point anyone out during the match to BYU event security and police that was making a slur. Nothing. Police were right next to their bench during the 4th set investigating/listening. Nothing. Her Godma's tweets and some of the stuff she herself has liked on twitter are awful and racist. Yet, this happens and is believed. I feel really bad about the way BYU has been treated in all of this. There may be things to rightful criticize BYU on but this is not it. That hit job in your paper was terrible.

And even if you took the devil's advocate and someone did make a slur at this event.......there are always bad apples in everything.
You are correct and the fan has been exonerated. What you have here is a Duke team that got beat.

BYU officials and police scanned the BYU videos several days and they have a better network than UT and created the model for other shools media. They have quit looking because they can't find any rascist call outs anywhere in the stadium. While BYU should have been celebrating a hard won victory over a higher ranked team this Duke player has been enjoying her 15 minutes of fame. The fan has been exonerated.

Leave it to Steaming Pile to convict a school before the actual facts are out. This young lady has soaked up the attention. I can't speak to other accusations of racism years ago but this one has been proven to not be true. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nc...ance-video-shows-otherwise-report/ar-AA11jKHP

Have any of her teammates said anything? It seems like if this were true then they would all be backing her up. If they're not then that pretty much confirms that this was all made up.

The unproven allegations are enough to crucify BYU?

There is zero evidence of a slur being said. Not a single witness, besides Ms. Richardson, has come forth. Not a single cell phone video or BYUtv's several camera angles caught a single thing.
How unlikely when this person supposedly said a slur during ‘every single serve.”?
