Gameday Thread: TCU vs Cal

First half is on the defense, not the offense. Can't expect much more than two beautiful offensive TD's, one passing and one running against a foe with a big game under their belt. But you sure have the right to expect more from a defense that can't keep the CAl qb from looking like a Heisman candidate.

Obviously I’m always rooting for TCU and want us to win and I get excited when we score.

at the same time part of me is a little disappointed. I feel like there might be some value in getting blown out by an average P12 team and even in having a losing season, because it forces Gary to actually evaluate his team, coaches, etc. I can easily see us limping to 7-5 with a bowl win and Gary thinks “good enough” and nothing will change or improve.
With UT and OU leaving the Big 12 the door is open for a team to run the conference. No way TCU fires GP knowing that given his tenure and success in the past. Its just where we are as a program
