This is where the head coach having a statue outside the stadium is a liability. Patterson has absolutely zero incentive to improve the offense because his job is secure. Any other head coach would’ve completely reset the offensive staff in the off-season. We have been dog [ Finebaum ] on offense far too long.

1 completed pass in 30 minutes of football against SMU. There is no adjective to describe how unbelievably [ Finebaum ]ty and unacceptable that is. We kept Cumbie a year or two too long, I’m starting to think we’re getting close to this offense setting the program back years. You can’t win with this [ Finebaum ]. Period.
