Interesting. Schloss announced Howard last night. Could be a risk to try and get the W tonight and have Howard start the first game of the Super.

Yeah maybe Schloss wants to get the kid some playoff experience without it being a do-or-die Game 7...if there is one.

If the Frogs advance, it will be interesting to see what Schloss does with the rotation. Janczak should be fine to go Saturday after pitching on Sunday night. If we can't go today and Howard pitches Tuesday, I'm not sure if he throws Sunday or gets held for a possible game 3 (maybe depend on the game 1 outcome).

I'd pitch Janczak in game 1 of a Super Regional. I'd also go ahead and pitch him in game 2, just to make sure the opposing team doesn't score. If the bullpen lets us down in game 2 and we have to play a deciding game 3, I'd pitch Janczak again.
