What is it with the term butt hurt? First gdu and now Houston? What does that even mean?

Just looked it up on Urban Dictionary:

Def 1: A display of bruised feelings, usually over something lame.

Buffy got all butt hurt when Tyler held a seat for Brittney

Def 2: This emotion usually stems from an unfounded sensitivity to a superficial prank, joke, or durogatory statement. It's most hilarious uses are on highly religious or homophobic people since it also implicates the hyper-sensitive person as being gay if male.

I don't know why Tom Cruise got so butt hurt about the closet episode of South Park when he probably owns his own Astro-Glide pant to keep up with the amount of..... and I'll end that example sentence there
