Handing out the grades for Boise State’s 36-35 loss to TCU

OFFENSE

Boise State moved the ball effectively against TCU throughout the game — on the ground and in the air. Boise State had just one three-and-out. Quarterback Kellen Moore threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns, and running back D.J. Harper added 125 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Matt Miller continued his emergence as the team’s top pass catcher with nine receptions for 73 yards and a TD. The Broncos should have scored even more points — and needed to. Fumbles in TCU territory by Mitch Burroughs (in the second quarter) and Drew Wright (in the final 3 minutes) proved costly.
