So what’s the deal with Vlad missing significant minutes in each game? Is he dealing with some minor injury? Hamdy is decent, but Vlad is a definite upgrade

Young kinda reminding me of Baker. The punk of OU basketball. Good player but acts like a [ $%^& ].
He and young have very punchable faces.

There’s a metaphor to be made for Daddies Mayfield and Young as well.
Agree 100% but the fouls that are getting called are minimal compared to the mugging that is not called before the touch foul.

ARob settled it all down when Fisher was trying to do too much opposite Young.

TCU is the better team. Trae Young is keeping OU in the game. If TCU makes a better effort of getting back on defense and finishing some of the easy buckets on the offensive end, TCU should win by double digits.
This is the first game I have watched compared to last season and the team has more polish this year. If this is any indication, more of the players are playing in control on the offensive end and have reduced the errant passes although you still see a little bit of that still. The challenge this season will be improving on the defensive end. We have plenty of offensive weapons if they stay healthy and the backup bigmen can learn to finish better.

True. They've missed plenty of easy calls too.
Seems like officials always wind up trying to "even out" calls too. Hope they keep calling what they should on OU until they change the way they're playing.
