Last night's Youtube rabbit hole brought me to Lost Dog Street Band, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Bridge City Sinners (not quite my style but the lead singer has an awesome voice), and a cool Youtube channel called Gems on VHS.

They didn't breakup. Just cancelled their tour and are on an extended hiatus, waiting for Evan to get his [ Finebaum ] together for the 18th time.
