GoFrogs: TCU Finishes Undefeated at Home for Fourth Consecutive Season

FORT WORTH – The No. 5 Horned Frogs finished the home slate unbeaten after defeating No. 11 Hawaii and Texas on the second day of the TCU Invitational. TCU took down the 'Bows (4-1) and earned a narrow win against the Longhorns (3-2) to improve the Frogs' season record to 23-5.

It's the fourth consecutive season that TCU has finished undefeated at home. The Horned Frogs extended their home winning streak to 53 and have not lost in Fort Worth since March 1, 2020.

TCU also celebrated Senior Day, honoring Sutton MacTavish, Alex Parkhurst, Tara Patton and Keagan Polk.

QUICK HITS AGAINST NO. 11 HAWAII
Anete Namike and Hallie Corinne Frist finished first at the No. 4 spot: 17-21, 11-21
Keagan Polk and Olivia Clines completed the three-set comeback to secure the first point for the Frogs on court No. 5: 18-21, 21-19, 15-6.
• This victory marks the pair's second ranked win together.
• The duo of Morgan Williams and Tara Patton earned the second Frog point with a straight-set victory on court three: 21-15, 24-22.
• The victory marks Patton's fifth ranked win this season and Williams' sixth. The duo has now tallied four ranked wins together.
Ana Vergara and Anhelina Khmil got it done in two sets from the No. 2 position: 21-15, 21-19.
• The victory marked Vergara's 75th win of her career.
Sutton MacTavish and Hailey Hamlett battled through three sets to get the last Horned Frog point at the No. 1 spot: 21-14, 16-21, 15-9.
• Hamlett secured her 11th ranked win this season and MacTavish her ninth.
• The Horned Frogs improved their overall record against Hawaii to 4-5 with both wins this weekend.

QUICK HITS AGAINST TEXAS
Emma Glagau and Hallie Corinne Frist pulled in the first point for TCU at the No. 5 spot: 21-11, 21-10.
• It's the duo's first win together as a pairing.
• The duo of Keagan Polk and Olivia Clines fell to Texas' Patton/Wright in a close three-set battle from the No. 4 position: 21-19, 23-25, 13-15.
Ana Vergara and Anhelina Khmil were defeated by Texas' Butler/Kahahawai on court two: 18-21, 12-21.
• The duo are now 4-2 this season as a pair.
Morgan Williams and Tara Patton secured TCU's second point of the match on court three: 21-19, 21-16.
• The pair improved their record this season to 6-1 together.
• Williams and Patton were one of just two Horned Frog pairings to go 4-0 on the weekend.
Sutton MacTavish and Hailey Hamlett reeled in the final point for TCU to clinch the match from the No. 1 position: 21-17, 21-14.
• The duo improved their undefeated record this season to 6-0 after their perfect 4-0 weekend.
• With the win, Hailey Hamlett earned her 75th career win.
• TCU remains undefeated against the Longhorns in program history (2-0).
• The Frogs also improved their record to 39-0 against teams in Texas.
