Jason Coats' 10th-inning single with the bases loaded scored Derek Odell as TCU escaped with a 2-1 walk-off win against Manhattan on Friday night at Lupton Stadium.
Coats had two of the Horned Frogs' four hits as Jaspers starter Taylor Sewitt held TCU (24-15) to three hits and a run through nine innings.
"You have to tip your hat to their starting pitcher, he really mixed it up against us and kept hitters off-balance," Coats said of the sidearming senior. "I'm just glad we battled and played really good defense tonight."
