At about age 14 I got horribly drunk on Big Red and vodka. I’ve never been able to so much as taste it since without feeling sick.Big Red is great, but I’m thirsty as hell after drinking one
Big Red that is

Grape Nehi is still available, but I'm not sure about Orange.
Considerably ahead of Pepsi.curious where some would rank rc cola in the power ranking of the "cola" soft drinks.
NeHi was great, as was Grapette
You can still get both.Remember Nehi, not sure about Grapette (unless it came in little wax bottles),
You may need to seek medical attention...Squirt in the bottle, with the little chunks of citrus in the bottom.
Wow! That brought back some memories...
Go Frogs!
HEB"s brand of soda are not bad at all. I have had that orange soda and you are right itis pretty darn good.Ever been to Pop’s in Arcadia, OK? I had a Nehi Orange from there just a few months ago. HEB has a house brand of orange soda that ain’t too bad.
It would appear that TCU fans are pretty upset about this de-commit.
I clicked back on this thread, wondering what was keeping it going. Was thinking I was going to be the first to bring up Rondo. That stuff had kids like me darn near slicing fingers off after crushing the can.Fanta!!!
Cola:
Dr Pepper>Mr Pibb>Coke>RC>Sam's Choice or other store brand>Pepsi
Non-cola:
Big Red>Fanta Grape>Barq's Root Beer>all other Fanta flavors>>>>>>>Sprite/7 Up/Rondo etc
Who remembers Rondo?
Both Fresca and Sprite Zero are big coktail ingredients for me. DeliciousI clicked back on this thread, wondering what was keeping it going. Was thinking I was going to be the first to bring up Rondo. That stuff had kids like me darn near slicing fingers off after crushing the can.
I'm a big Fresca guy. And I like ginger ale on top of my bourbon.
Safeway "Cragmont". Orange and Grape. Was always our go-to cheap "cokes" for a day at the lake. Wonder if they still make them?HEB"s brand of soda are not bad at all. I have had that orange soda and you are right itis pretty darn good.
ah yes, misery loves company but if my sporadic memory serves me well, you still have a few months on meYou old
That's because it is great for enemas.A lot of Austin places are using Maine Root brand sodas as their only choices. I hate them but fufu Austinites apparently love them.
Fresca and a Zero candy bar was my go to as a kid. Second was DP and peanuts and would drop the peanuts into the DP. (almost said "drop the nuts" but then remembered where I was posting).I clicked back on this thread, wondering what was keeping it going. Was thinking I was going to be the first to bring up Rondo.
