Awesome! That was Hotel Paso Del Norte.. Clark Gable used to frequent that hotel and often watched movies at the theater next door. Elizabeth Taylor used to live in the Top floor of what is now the Plaza hotel. Glad you had a great experience.
Love that hotel, and the bar is spectacular. IIRC, that massive art glass piece over the bar is by Tiffany, around 1900 or so. Has to be one of, if not the, biggest in the world. Awesome rooftop pool as well.

I'm thinking the blonde on the left would be a tough intubation. Medical observation.

It is difficult to assess what you are upset with.
Are you angry that these signs exist? Should they only exist in San Diego?
Are you upset that he thinks the signs may be needed in Texas due to the illegal immigration crisis at the Texas mexico border?
Are you upset that he suggested that caution should be exercised due to the potential for people running across the road?
Should we exercise less caution if you do not wish for the signs to be present?
Does that cause more danger for those running across the road? If so, why would you not want those signs present if needed?
Without signs, is there an inherent disregard for the safety of anyone fleeing across a busy roadway?
Are you upset that the mom (implied) in the silhouette is portrayed as applying far to much stress on the acromioclavicular joint of the young girl?
Are you upset that Christians exist and you feel judgmental of those who claim to be "good Christians," because they do not live up to the flawless values that you feel should be held by Christians?
Are you suggesting that he think before he posts only on issues related to these signs or should he think prior to all posts?
Are you flexing that you know one of Michael Jackson's hit songs that others may not? (Annie, are you okay?)
Just to be clear, I’m a highly flawed Christian. This forum is supposed to be about TCU sports and our love for all things TCU. Frankly, I don’t care about his or your opinions on what is going on at the border or any of the political opinions of those on this board. I just find it amazing that there are some people here who are comparing human beings to deer and thinking there is nothing off about that.

Was I supposed to type something here?

We absolutely do not think people are like deer. Deer are ruminant animals, and have extremely dense and lean muscle, thus take a lot of preparation and thought when cooking. Humans, OTOH, as omnivores are more porcine in nature. Hence, the Polynesians term for them: Long Pig.

My planned stops are:
1. Ranger - Pee break/stretch
* Usually I stop in Baird for Whataburger, but skipping it on the way to Phoenix
2. Abilene - Get La Popular breakfast tacos and some treats from McKay's Bakery
3. Maybe Sweetwater - Stretch/Pee break
4. Midland/Odessa - Coffee or Lunch depending on the feel
5. Van Horn - Stretch/Pee Break
* Now not sure, might take 54 North and go to Guadalupe Peak for a second
6. Las Cruses - Hotel for the night/Ain't stopping in El Paso
Hi there! My name is Macy Jenkins and I’m a reporter with FOX4 News. We’re looking to interview TCU fans who have decided to drive to Phoenix for the game since there are so many issues with flying!!! Email me at macy.jenkins@fox.com

There is just one thing, no one compared humans to deer...until you mentioned it in your post.
Plus, now that you deleted your post, no one will understand my response post, which was well on its way to getting a couple dozen likes.

I'm driving our tomorrow morning with the wife and daughter. Thursday. A projected 10-hour drive to Las Cruces NM. Hotel reservations made then a projected 6-hour drive to Phoenix on Friday. On Sunday New Year's Day, we will drive to Las Vegas and stay a couple of nights. Along the way we'll stop at Hoover Dam and do the tour. Wife and daughter have never seen it. Taking a different route back home through Flagstaff then Albuquerque. I hear Flagstaff is nice. Looking forward to the trip and a Horned Frog victory. No projected restaurant/food stops ahead of time. Just whatever we are in the mood for. Go Frogs!!
Flagstaff is boring. The cornbread at Whisk and Whiskey might be the best you have ever had. Great restaurant . . Taverna. Plenty of homebrew places. Lumberyard most well known.

Mrs. DF, Little DF, and I left at 8:00 AM from Ft Worth. Two stops so far and we are 40 min from Albuquerque. We went the north route. But we brought a cooler, made some sandwiches and packed snacks so our stops are short. Little DF enjoyed iPad time for the first 8 hours, complained about being bored, and just fell asleep. We COULD do the whole drive tonight, but we are stopping in Albuquerque for the night. Finishing tomorrow morning in Phoenix. Go Frogs!

This is a great plan. Take in everything and enjoy the trip. However, when we beat Michigan, you just need to keep heading West.
The State Troopers are in Silver with Black trim Explorers. You will see them because they want to be seen to get people to slow down. The ticket givers are in unmarked cars with the lights inside with tinted windows. Usually a Charger but not always. Warning . . . . . they are very good at hiding.
