DieHards: TCU’s defense has stifled the opposition through 6 games

TCU’s defense has returned to its stifling ways under coach Gary Patterson in 2017 — most recently holding Kansas State without a touchdown in a 26-6 win over the Wildcats on Saturday. It was the first time all season that Kansas State failed to find the end zone.
And looking at the statistics, Saturday wasn’t an anomaly.
According to TCU associate athletic director Mark Cohen, TCU has held each of its opponents to fewer points than their season averages — through its six games.
But the Horned Frogs aren’t just bringing other teams’ numbers down. They’re doing it with some style.
