Scooter was up and throwing in the pen before the end of the 1st frame. Talk about a clash of cultures, between him and Yu.

They did an in-house promo on the jumbotron where the players said "Welcome to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington." Some of the latin players said it in Japanese, some of the Japanese said it in Spanish, and the whities said it all three. Feldman said his in nearly perfect Japanese which makes me think he spent his rumspringa in the land of the rising sun.

Yu, for his first game was alright. Did everyone think he was going to be lights out from the very first start? He battled strong and when he relaxed his stuff was really good.
