Would a win tonight actually calm/assuage any concerns?

Just curious as to what or how people are thinking?

For me, I don’t think so….I mean Utah is without their 10 year quarterback so it does mitigate things somewhat.

But just wondered how other would feel about the rest of the season were we to win tonight. Would we need to win in impressive fashion or would just a squeaker win still salve any concerns/fear?

Of course it's not .. but I think most are just looking for improvement and trajectory... And a bowl is better than no bowl. However, I'm not confident in that unfortunately.

Hell yes. A road win and win #4 would mean we only need 2 more to be bowl eligible.

Will a win cause the KfC crew to be happy? Of course not. After briefly reading this board, I’m certain there’s a percentage of fans that are hoping we lose so they can [ hundin] about the coaching staff more.

Unfortunately, there are people on KFC who would rather be right than happy. I don’t think you can underestimate the level of ego and disdain on this forum.

I thought this was a 6-6 team. How we got there might be sus, but that still serves. I actually believe that we should give everyone 1 more year. HC, OC, DC, ST and then fire the lot if we don't make a bowl.

People need to realize that this year’s schedule is a cakewalk compared to our schedule last year. This should have been at the very least a 7-5 team after taking both Texas and Oklahoma off of the schedule. But here we are at 3–3, looking down the barrel at another losing season going into the hardest stretch of our schedule. Going 3–9 is a very real possibility. And to me, anything under 6–6 should get Dykes fired. He’s had more resources at his disposal than at any of his previous stops, yet we’re getting the same results that he had at Cal. This is literally the most pivotal time in college football, and we CANNOT afford to continue this downward trend.
