If you read their forums, they are far more into Tech (public school) and Baylor (basketball) and of course UT being the devil. The TCU thing does not come up that much anymore.

edit - I may be thinking of this more from a UH person than TCU perspective.

don't read their forums, not sure why i would want to, deal with houston grads almost daily and i do hear from them about the tcu thing and duarte who is their beat writer takes shots at tcu any time he gets the chance

as ron pointed out they have done a great job of pumping up their academic programs and have a very good science and engineering program

big key for them has been getting the dorms on campus and actually starting to build an on campus community among their students
