Watching the OSU-ISU game and ISU had to take a Timeout after changing personnel near the goal line because an OSU defender jogged out to get in the game. I wonder why more defenses don't sub late or slowly to force the offe se to do something like this?

Smart play by Okie Lite forcing an ISU timeout. Don’t know why more don’t do that when the O has a mid clock sub

Saw same thing in Memphis v UCF game. Think it was right before half.
Malzahn was pissed yelling at refs going into the break (after UCF missed a FG I believe)
